Welcome to Daven Lock. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Daven Lock mobile application (the "App"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
By using Daven Lock, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms. We may update these Terms from time to time, and continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
Daven Lock is rated 4+ on the App Store and is suitable for users of all ages. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may only use the App with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian, who agrees to these Terms on your behalf.
Daven Lock offers optional auto-renewing subscriptions that unlock premium features:
Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Your subscription automatically renews unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the price of the selected plan.
You can manage and cancel your subscription at any time in Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions on your iOS device. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited upon purchase of a subscription.
All purchases are processed by Apple and are subject to Apple's refund policy. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com.

You agree not to:
Daven Lock generates prayer text and translations using third-party AI models. While we strive for accuracy and authenticity, AI-generated content may contain errors, inaccuracies, or content that does not reflect traditional Jewish liturgy. The App is a personal tefillah tool and is not a substitute for a Siddur, a rabbi, or qualified religious guidance. You use AI-generated content at your own discretion.
The App uses Apple's Family Controls / Screen Time framework to block apps and websites you select. You acknowledge:
The App, including its design, code, content, branding, and prayer templates (excluding AI-generated user content), is owned by Daven Lock and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your personal, non-commercial use. All rights not expressly granted to you are reserved.
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS. YOUR USE OF THE APP IS AT YOUR OWN RISK.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL DAVEN LOCK, ITS OWNERS, OR ITS AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE APP. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) USD $50.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the App will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Florida, United States.
These Terms are between you and Daven Lock only, not with Apple Inc. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and, upon your acceptance, will have the right to enforce them against you.
